Nypa fruticans  

The mangrove sugar producing palms, commonly know as nipa palm. It's trunk grows under the ground and only the feather leaves and flower stalk grow above the surface. Moreover the leaves can extend up to 9-10 meter in height. The flowers are a globular inflorescence. Furthermore,the sap exudation was taped after the cluster of mature fruit harvested. [bib]18[,bib]
