General description:
C. nucifera, the coconut palm, is only known from cultivation and is often growing fully sun exposed. Their trunks are composed of fibrous and may grow to 25 meters tall. The top of the tree show a crown of pinnately compound leaves up to 4 meters long. The coconut palm is multipurpose plant which is used with different parts for example; sugar producing, coconut milk, fruit, food (hard endosperm and shoot), oil producing and wood material. [1]
